Morzino

Development of the international version of the platform started shortly after the local launch in Luxembourg. Morzino.com was officially made available to the public as a BETA on April 1, 2016, although non-official versions had already been available before. In September 2016 the Ministry Of Education in Luxembourg launched their own platform based on Morzino technology. The BETA phase ended in late 2017.
  • January 9, 2018 - Morzino.com is now officially available, BETA phase has ended.
  • December 15, 2017 - The entire website has been reworked and cleaned up.
  • September 15, 2017 - 200+ changes, including a completely redesigned virtual classroom, featuring the new classbook app.
  • September 15, 2016 - The Ministry Of Education in Luxembourg launches oli.education.lu, a completely new platform based on Morzino technology.
  • April 1, 2016 - Morzino.com BETA officially released, offering a large number of enhancements.
  • January 9, 2015 - New database engine.
  • April 10, 2014 - 500+ fixes & feature updates during the past 6 months.
  • September 15, 2014 - Greatly improved Virtual Classroom & LMS, featuring the new Targets & Assignments and Todo apps.
  • January 9, 2014 - Development of the international Morzino.com platform has been officially started.

Oli.lu

The Morzino project started as a BETA in November 2015 using the domain oli.lu in Luxembourg, Europe. Within the following two years we refined the look and feel, developed new apps, added the school website management tools, and fixed the most important bugs. In November 2013 Oli.lu was officially launched on the Luxembourgish education market.
  • November 19, 2013 - Oli.lu final release, featuring a redesigned starting page, a completely new icon set, as well as five new apps.
  • March 18, 2013 - Oli.lu BETA 2.5, featuring the new Evaluation & Portfolio app, optional SSL, as well as 500+ fixes and enhancements.
  • November 19, 2012 - Oli.lu BETA 2.0 introduces the new School Web Manager app.
  • August 1, 2012 - Oli.lu BETA 1.6, offering a completely redesigned website.
  • May 15, 2012 - Oli.lu BETA 1.5 offers a design update as well as over 800 enhancements and many new features.
  • November 15, 2011 - Oli.lu officially launched.

Origins

The basic ideas for the platform came up in November 2009. Development only started a year later in late 2010, as we were still busy finishing other projects at the time. A first prototype featuring an early version of the virtual classroom and a few e-learning apps went online about 6 months after development had started.
  • May 2011 - The very first prototype version goes online.
  • Late 2010 - Development of the platform has been started.
  • November 15, 2009 - The basic idea for the platform (e-learning apps and a virtual classroom) have been developed.
  • July 20, 2008 2008 - Domain morzino.com has been registered.
  • February 14, 2008 - Domain oli.lu has been registered.
